So the leaves are only just falling from the trees and Christmas is ages away…well, not quite!

Before we know it we’ll be leaving out the milk and sherry for Father Christmas and they’ll be a magical pile of pressies under the Chrismas tree.  Lots of you have already booked your sessions in time for Christmas and those of you that are yet to get round to it need to book in soon!

To guarantee prints in time for Christmas you need to have had your portrait session no later then the first week in December.  There are only a handful of weekend slots left (about 6!) and a few more weekday sessions left.  So if you want to invest in some extra special gifts for family and friends this Christmas then give us a call and organise your session soon!

After a busy week at our promotional stand at Hempstead Valley we have been asked to come back for 3 more days for the Tots to Teens event at Hempstead Valley.

So we are back for Monday 13th, Tuesday 14th, Wednesday 15th October.

So you have three more days to pick up our special offer for our sessions.  As well as get some unique portraits done then and there.

We have a few remaining dates in the run up to Christmas for home sessions and this will definately be the last of our stands for 2008, so make sure you get down and take advantage of our special offers available!

So last week we had our stand at Hempstead Valley which was a huge success.  It was great to meet lots of great famillies and photograph so many babies and children!

Congratulations to everyone who booked their home portrait sessions!  For those that didnt manage to get down to book their sessions, dates for Christmas are filling up fast so dont leave it too late!

So we’ve been really really busy recently.  We decided not to let the bad weather get us down and thought we’d post some of our recent work to brighten up your day! (they certainly brightened up our summer!)

I had the pleasure to photograph Francesca last week.  I dont think ive met a new born with so much hair!  Needless to say she looked gorgeous and it will be fantastic to see how much she grows and develops through the next 12 months! 

We will be returning to Hempstead Valley Shopping centre for another week!

Pure Portraits

After a couple of hectic weeks we have now moved house! Its been a crazy couple of weeks but life is getting back to normal now and as we are settling in our new pad and enjoying the most important task of where to hang all our photos!

We are now running only on the 0845 009 2610 number, so the old number will not be active from now on so please use this number.  Our emails are still the same so don’t hesitate to drop us an email!

Oh also a quick announcement! We will be doing another stand at Hempstead Valley at the end of September beginning of October, more details will be posted at a later date.  So hopefully you’ll see us there for our new promotions!

In May we had a stand at Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre to truly launch Pure Portraits.  The week was incredibly successful, and it was great meeting so many brilliant people.  We took lots photos of some awesome kids which is always great fun!  It was lovely to see lots of previous clients there too.  Good to see lots of you that have been busy making new babies!! :D  Make sure you dont leave it too late for your newborn portrait sessions!

Hi and welcome to the new Pure Portraits blog!

Im Dan and im the photographer!  I live with my partner Rachel and she helps out from time to time, infact a few of you may have even have spoken to her on the phone!

This new blog will be a bit like an online journal.  I’ll be putting up photos from recent client portrait shoots as well as some of my personal work.  (a little secret - i LOVE photographing landscapes and journalism!) I’m a very creative person, so this blog will be the perfect platform to showcase my latest portrait work and personal projects - so i hope you enjoy!
